Many office envelopes and stationery envelopes offered by Dolphin Blue contain 100% post consumer recycled waste fibers that are also certified processed chlorine free as well as being FSC-Certified.

 * Post-consumer recycled fiber is derived from paper that is recovered from the waste stream. That paper was used for its intended purpose and then placed in a bin for recycling. Through successful collection and processing, fiber from the recycled paper has been given a second life.

 The higher the post consumer recycled fiber content used in making Recycled Office, Mailing & Shipping Envelopes, including Recycled Invitation & Announcement Envelopes, Recycled Mailing Envelopes, Recycled CD Mailers, Recycled DVD Mailers, Recycled CD Sleeves, Recycled Shipping Envelopes, Recycled Clasp Envelopes, Recycled Remittance Envelopes, Recycled Reply Mail Envelopes and Recycled Interoffice Envelopes, the more environmentally responsible that paper is. Paper with 100% post-consumer recycled fiber is paper that uses no virgin wood pulp. In essence, free of tree pulp.

Using recycled paper (in making Dolphin Blue’s envelopes) that is processed chlorine-free means that the paper has been made without the use of chlorine or chlorine-containing compounds, eliminating the possible formation of dioxin, furans, and organo-chlorines.
