Link360 Recycling and DolphinBlue.com have teamed to facilitate successful recycling of empty OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and Remanufactured Laser Toner Cartridges.

What’s the Program?

If you are not recycling used toner cartridges, then this page explains why doing so would be a good idea.  In a nutshell, this is what you can do:

1) Email to recycle@dolphinblue.com a request for free shipping materials that you can use to ship your spent toner cartridges to Dolphin Blue's recycling program. 

2) Pack and send via UPS (for free) your used toner cartridges (NO inkjet cartridges).

3) Agree to support this recycling program by buying remanufactured toner cartridges from Dolphin Blue.  (This is an honor-based system, so don't participate if you are not willing to follow-through by making future purchases.  A credit will be issued for returned cartridges, and that credit can be applied to future purchases.)

The issue:

Currently, in the realm of toner cartridge usage and subsequent disposal, there are significant environmental and societal challenges:

·          Several hundred million laser, fax, multi-function and copier toner cartridges are bought and consumed (spent) annually.

·          Many empties not returned to the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), entering the waste-stream.

·          Because of the cost of retrieving and mailing empty toner cartridges, compared to the cost of attaining remanufacture-able empties, many remanufacturers don’t take back their product, leaving many millions of empty toner cartridges destined to enter the landfill or incinerator – much product entering Asian countries or less-developed countries as eWaste (see www.ban.org).

Purpose of the Recycling Program:

·          Facilitate recycling of virgin (OEM) and non-virgin (remanufactured) toner cartridge cores that now enter the waste-stream and become eWaste in developing countries.

·          Inform Dolphin Blue’s customers about the environmental and societal benefits of recycling and buying remanufactured and recycled products.

·          Provide Dolphin Blue’s customers shipping labels and boxes to facilitate successful recycling of empty toner cartridges.

How the Recycling Program works:

·          Emailing recycle@dolphinblue.com allows Dolphin Blue’s customer to request return boxes and labels that facilitate successful recycling of empty Laser, Fax, Copier and Multifunction Toner Cartridges.

·          Pickup service provided free by UPS (United Parcel Service) through Dolphin Blue-provided shipping return labels.

Thank you for joining our recycling program. By becoming a member of our Toner Cartridge Recycling Program you will be able to do the following:

·          Request multiple-cartridge shipping return boxes or pallet pickups arranged through Dolphin Blue.

·          Reorder recycling supplies

·          Order remanufactured toner cartridges and recycled-content, premium-quality Office Supplies.

Registration:

To receive empty toner cartridge return labels, Dolphin Blue’s customer agrees to (and, to ensure the long-term success of collecting and recycling empty toner cartridges) do the following:

·          Requestor will provide their confidential information, to be used ONLY by Dolphin Blue for its intended purpose of marketing Dolphin Blue’s Remanufactured Toner Cartridges to the requestor and, commit to offering three referrals provided by the REQUESTOR of such shipping return labels (this is an honor-based system, so don't participate if you are not willing to follow-through).

·          Email Dolphin Blue your request for Pre-paid (FREE) shipping labels for return of your empty toner cartridges.

·          You agree to return ONLY empty Laser, Copier, Fax, and Multifunction toner cartridges, NO INKJET CARTRIDGES.

·          You agree to buy from Dolphin Blue any Remanufactured Laser, Copier, Fax, and Multifunction toner cartridges or INKJET CARTRIDGES you may need, as your way of creating a sustainable planet for future generations.

By making your request to Dolphin Blue for Pre-paid shipping labels for return of your empty toner cartridges, you have agreed to the above conditions and will honor that agreement. Yes, this is an honor-based agreement.

For every toner cartridge returned by a Dolphin Blue customer, a credit will be given toward the purchase of a remanufactured toner cartridge from www.dolphinblue.com.

Recycling Program Rules & Regulations:

·          Dolphin Blue reserves the right to change rules and pricing with an advanced written notice to Dolphin Blue’s customers through www.dolphinblue.com.

·          NO copier toner bottles or printer ribbons PLEASE; bundle and ship multiple empty toner cartridges; ship virgin (OEM) and non-virgin (Remanufactured) cores in return boxes provided by Dolphin Blue.
