* Post-consumer recycled fiber is derived from paper that is recovered from the waste stream. That paper was used for its intended purpose and then placed in a bin for recycling. Through successful collection and processing, fiber from the recycled paper has been given a second life, preserving landfill space and precious forest resources.

 

The higher the post consumer recycled fiber content used in making Recycled Office Envelopes, Mailing & Shipping Envelopes, Recycled Mailing Envelopes, Recycled Shipping Envelopes, the more environmentally responsible that paper is. Paper with 68% post-consumer recycled fiber is paper that uses 32% virgin wood pulp, blended with the post consumer waste fiber.
