The Dolphin Blue Business Communications Package (BCP) is a package of printed paper items or Stationery Set Items typically used in communicating a business message. The papers being offered by Dolphin Blue have varying levels of Environmentally Responsible qualities. Dolphin Blue offers papers easily available through us that are unable to be found elsewhere.
The papers offered are designated throughout the BCP pages with notes explaining the following environmental attributes:
· 100FSC -- A VERY GOOD paper choice for humans, our fellow species and the planet.
100FSC are papers comprised of 100% post consumer recycled waste fibers that have been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council as having been produced in a manner that retains healthy forests and ecologically-viable and species-diverse habitat. Some, not all, of the 100FSC papers are also 100PCF.
· 100PCF -- Your VERY BEST paper choice for humans, our fellow species and the planet.
100PCF are papers comprised of 100% post consumer recycled waste fibers that are certified processed chlorine free, preventing additional potentially-harmful chlorine compounds, dioxins and organo-chlorines from entering our vital water ecosystems, thereby reducing the risk of adverse human health effects and chemical influence on fellow species. Some, not all, of the 100PCF papers are also 100FSC.
Within the Business Communications Package offering, the above Environmentally Responsible paper choices are available within three Business-Size packages:
StartUp Pack which includes the following:

100PCR are papers comprised of 100% post consumer recycled waste fibers, using NO virgin wood pulp nor tree-derived fibers.
100PCF are papers comprised of 100% post consumer recycled waste fibers that are certified processed chlorine free, preventing additional potentially-harmful chlorine compounds, dioxins and organo-chlorines from entering our vital water ecosystems, thereby reducing the risk of adverse human health effects and chemical influence on fellow species.
100FSC are papers comprised of 100% post consumer recycled waste fibers that have been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council as having been produced in a manner that retains healthy forests and ecologically-viable and species-diverse habitat. If you have artwork/design files:
When sending your art/layout files, please send a PDF (minimum 300 dpi) with the design file. To be able to view your art/layout file, it is mandatory we have a PDF that we can easily open. Our print plant is located in another building, away from where we view your PDFs (they have Macs, we have PCs).

We print your order from the following file types:
· .eps
· .tif
· .PDF
Please provide your art/design file to Dolphin Blue at minimum 300 dpi (dots per inch), 600 dpi is preferable
Acceptable design programs:
· Adobe (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, PDF)
· QuarkXPress
If you have no artwork, please visit our Graphic Designer Directory. The Dolphin Blue Graphic Designer Directory is offered to any customer needing design and layout assistance with the pieces that will be produced by Dolphin Blue. Please search for a designer listed on our Graphic Designer Directory page to assist you in creating professional A la Carte Printed Pieces that we will print for you on the environmentally responsible paper you choose.

Dolphin Blue does ALL printing with soy-based inks, except where thermo-graphed, foil-stamped or other processes prevent us from doing so.
If you do not provide print-ready artwork/files, there may be additional charges for setup and make-ready -- minimum charges will be $75.00 for such prep work.
The following may incur additional costs, above and beyond the costs displayed on pricing page(s):
· Papers that are not shown ($50.00 extra - the papers shown are easily available because we have them in stock - other papers may need to be special-ordered and cut to size, incurring additional costs. Linens, Laids, Felts, Vellums, etc. may be available. For these special papers call 1(800) 932-7715.
· Trapped images, close registration, or hairline registration in your artwork/design ($34.00 additional). For example click here.
· Edge Bleeds in your artwork/design (extra $14.00 per edge - if bleed appears on ALL edges, $56.00 extra). For example click here.
